With a main peak reaching an elevation of 1,518.6 meters, it is hailed as the "Premier Divine Mountain of Western Hunan" and the "Soul of Wuling."

Tianmen Cave: The highest-altitude natural karst cave in the world, located in the central section of Tianmen Mountain; it serves as the park's iconic landmark. To reach the cave entrance from the mountain base, visitors must ascend the "Heavenly Stairway"—a flight of 999 steps.

Tianmen Mountain Cableway: One of the longest passenger cableways in the world, spanning a total length of 7,455 meters and connecting the city center directly to the mountain summit.
