2. Itinerary Overview:

Day 1: City Pandas and the Charm of Shu Culture

Morning: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Upon arriving in Chengdu, a visit to see China’s most adorable national treasure—the Giant Panda—is an absolute must. This world-renowned *ex situ* conservation base allows you to observe pandas of all ages, from playful cubs to majestic adults. We will enter the park in the morning, which is when the pandas are at their most active. Utilizing our express entry service and a dedicated English-speaking guide, you can not only bypass the crowds but also gain deep insights into the pandas' habits and the stories behind their conservation.

Afternoon: Liyuan Guild Hall—Intangible Cultural Heritage: Sichuan Opera "Face-Changing" Performance. After your visit to the Panda Base, return to the city center and head to the Liyuan Guild Hall (located near Wenshu Monastery) to enjoy an authentic Sichuan Opera performance. The program is rich and varied, featuring famous opera excerpts, "water-sleeve" dances, and puppetry. Of course, the absolute highlights—the intangible cultural heritage of Sichuan Opera "Face-Changing" and the spectacular fire-breathing stunts—are not to be missed; they offer a superb way to experience Chengdu’s "slow-paced lifestyle" and traditional culture. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the performance start time.

Evening: After the performance concludes, take some time to stroll through the nearby Wenshu Monastery district and sample some authentic Chengdu snacks.

Day 2: Unveiling the Mysteries of Ancient Shu—A Dialogue with Sanxingdui

Full Day: Sanxingdui Museum. The Sanxingdui site is hailed as "one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century." The artifacts unearthed here—such as the Bronze Sacred Tree, the Colossal Bronze Standing Figure, and the "Vertical-Eyed" Bronze Mask—are steeped in mystery and are celebrated as the "Source of Yangtze River Civilization." We recommend dedicating a full day to this excursion; traveling from downtown Chengdu to the Sanxingdui Museum (located in Guanghan City) is very convenient, allowing you ample time to leisurely admire these awe-inspiring artifacts.

Day 3: Paying Homage to the Waters of Dujiangyan and Seeking Wisdom at Mount Qingcheng

Morning: Dujiangyan Scenic Area. Dujiangyan stands as the oldest, best-preserved, and sole surviving large-scale water conservancy project in the world that utilizes a dam-free diversion system. It is revered as the "Progenitor of Global Water Conservancy Culture." Entering through Lidui Park and following the designated sightseeing route, visitors can successively visit Fulong Temple, Baopingkou, Feishayan, and Yuzui. Afterward, one can cross the Anlan Suspension Bridge and ascend Qinyan Tower to enjoy a panoramic view of the entire hydraulic engineering complex, gaining an appreciation for the ancient wisdom of "guiding the flow according to the terrain."

Afternoon: Mount Qingcheng (Front Mountain): Mount Qingcheng is one of the birthplaces of Chinese Taoism and is renowned for the adage, "Mount Qingcheng is the most secluded place under heaven." Together with the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, it has been designated a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. The primary attractions of the Front Mountain are its Taoist temples and profound cultural heritage. The core sightseeing route begins at the Mountain Gate, passes through scenic spots such as the "Natural Picture" and Tianshi Cave, and ultimately reaches the Laojun Pavilion at an elevation of approximately 1,260 meters. The entire ascent and descent can be accomplished via cableway, and the total duration of the visit is approximately three hours.
