Rent a bicycle and ride along the ancient city walls. As the sunset illuminates the restored city towers, the view of the modern landscape outside the ancient city walls interwoven with the ancient architecture within is visually stunning.

Day 2:A Miracle on the Cliff – Mount Hengshan and Human Ingenuity

In-depth perspective: It is recommended to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Experience this wonder, which was rated by Time magazine as one of the "Ten Most Dangerous Buildings in the World"—see how it is supported by a few slender wooden pillars, a testament to a thousand years of religious integration (the fusion of three religions).

• Mount Hengshan (Northern Sacred Mountain)

• Yungang Grottoes
