Odzala-Kokoua Park Discovery Camps: CCC Lango, Ngaga, and Mboko Luxury Safari Camps
- Продолжительность: 8 дн. (прибл.)
- Код предложения: roc-overland-10-en
*Note: We have a low price guarantee for this tour, and as we are in the Congo on the ground, give support and actual personnel to get you to Odzala. Beware of other websites and re-sellers that purport to sell the old Wilderness Safaris tour for any rates and with any similar pictures, as Wilderness has since resigned and left the country and withdrawn from Odzala and no longer operates Lango and Ngaga Camp. The Congo Conservation Company and the African Parks Network is the excellent international organization that manages the park and conservation efforts inside.
CTT and CCC is open and fully operational in all 3 of the Odzala Discovery Wilderness camps: Ngaga, Lango and Mboko.

More about Odzala, Why Go?
This tour covers part of northern Congo and takes in the biggest group of wild gorillas in Africa and one of its most untraveled and untouched game parks. Hike in the jungles, ride the Congo River and some of its most out-of-the-way and beautiful tributaries, see giant lowland gorillas as well plenty of chances to see other animals such as leopards, giraffes, chimpanzees, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and hundreds of species of birds and fish as well as perhaps some new ones.
In Odzala at night, glowing scorpions move like specters around trees in the canopy above you, while a cosmos of tiny fireflies swirls in the swamps below. You will top it all off with Africa’s best food and music and the ultimate safari that nowhere else in Africa can match anymore. This is the Africa that most tours promise but few can deliver anymore in the modern world. This is as real as it gets, and it's open for 2015.
(For more customized Odzala luxury tours, see below)
Odzala does have a landing strip so chartering a small plane is possible on request (includes lunch,) but we also bring guests up by flying them halfway to a town called Ouesso with the local airline, where it is available and on what days. This allows for greater budget flexibility for the guest.
Guests preferring the budget option fly to Ouesso (their flights run Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays) where they are met by a driver from Odzala and are driven several hours to Etoumbi in our transfer van.
Due to the ferry crossing at Etoumbi, all overlanding guests will overnight there as the ferry stops running at 1700.
Overland transport from Brazzaville is also available for our guests to reach the forest.
One of our experienced guides greets the guests, hosts them for the evening and is there to travel with them the next morning to the camps where they arrive before noon.
As soon as you reach Etoumbi you begin to experience the beauty of the rainforest, as it's possible to spot animals from the hotel!!!
We can book everything for you: hotels in Brazzaville, private charter planes (although these are significantly more alone than the price of the entire safari,) and we take care of booking the camps, gorilla tracking, treks, special needs, and all activities as well here with extra customer service, custom tours designed around the bookends at the start and end of your Odzala Safari, and of course discounts on everything versus trying to set it up direct to retail.
Please email us to request for programs according to your group size and timing, for a complete Odzala information kit, and all prices (which change according to high and low season.)
We carry a low price guarantee for all Odzala Activities, Accommodations, and Tours, and work closely in partnership with the Congo Conservation Company and African Parks Network.
