ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Dhaka (February 21)
After arriving in Dhaka, our staff will meet you and arrange your transport to the hotel. There is no hectic schedule for the day. After 8 hours of traveling, take rest for the day at the designated hotel.
In the evening, visit Shaheed Minar, also known as the Martyrs' Monument. This significant landmark was constructed to honor those who sacrificed their lives in the Language Movement of 1952. The monument serves as a potent symbol of linguistic and cultural pride. Capture the serene atmosphere, honor the language martyrs, and take part in the celebration of International Mother Language Day.Day 2: Explore Dhaka & Sightseeings (February 22)
After having breakfast at Old Dhaka, visit Ahsan Manzil & Lalbag Kella.
- Ahsan Manzil is a stunning architectural wonder from the Mughal era. The palace has a beautiful exterior, elaborate designs, and lush grounds. Today, Ahsan Manzil serves as a museum, showcasing artifacts and exhibits.
- Lalbag Kella, or Lalbagh Fort, is an iconic fort. Majestic walls and Mughal architecture portray Bangladesh's rich history. A museum showcasing Mughal artwork, weaponry, and other relics is housed within the fort.
Try traditional food for lunch.
- After lunch, Explore historic Dhaka University, renowned for its architecture and academic importance. Don’t forget to visit the Teachers-Students Centre and the renowned University Hall.
- Head to Manik Mia Avenue and take a stroll down this colorful street to experience a blend of modern and historical Dhaka.
- Visit Shangsad Vaban (the National Parliament House) and Metro Rail.
- Enjoy the Hatir Jheel water trip in the evening. It offers serene boat rides, beautiful landscapes, and a peaceful retreat in the middle of Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka.
Enjoy continental or Western foods for dinner at Gulshan Restaurant. Prepare for the overnight trip by bus.
Day 3: Arrival at Mongla and Sundarbans (February 23)
You will arrive in Khulna early in the morning following the overnight bus ride. The journey will begin at 8 am from Khulna Jetty. You’ll be cruising towards Mongla, the Sundarbans' entry point.
After lunch, get ready to explore the nature. Afternoon activities include a mangrove trek and a wooden boat journey into the core of the forest. In the late afternoon, keep your eyes open and search for animals such as wildlife creatures like deer, crocodiles, and snakes. Enjoy the ambiance and tranquility, surrounded by the sounds of birds, and journey over the river.
It'll be an overnight stay on the boat.
Day 4: Explore Jamtola Forest & Jamtola Beach (February 24)
Today you’ll explore Jamtola Forest and Jamtola Beach.
- Jamtola forest is a fascinating destination for nature enthusiasts. It offers a diverse collection of flora and fauna. Birdwatchers can spot various unknown species. One can also get a sight of Chitra deer, tiger mounds, and tiger footprints. Other wildlife including deer, monkeys, and pigs can also be seen roaming around. During the winter season, Saltwater crocodiles can be spotted.
- Jamtola Beach is located near Jamtola Forest. It is named for its abundance of jujube trees. Serene waters and scenic landscapes offer a peaceful ambiance for beach lovers. This secluded and clean beach has glistening black sand, cedar-destroyed trees, and full of crabs. One can enjoy a stunning sunset view with seven colors or the colorful evening sky from this beach.
- Katka Sanctuary stands out for tourists because of the beautiful Chitra deer herds, different species of birds, peaceful nature, and the presence of various wild animals. There is a four-storeyed watch tower in Katka. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of Sundarbans from a 40-foot-high watch tower. Deer assemble here for their food in the afternoon. You may observe the scene if you sit patiently in the watch tower for some time.
Day 5: Explore Karamjol Wildlife Center and Return to Dhaka (February 25)
After waking up, enjoy breakfast on the boat while you take in the views of the mangrove forest and the sounds of the birds.
- Karamjol Wildlife Center is one of the wonderful visiting places in Sundarban. Thousands of visitors make their way to Karamjol, a ranger station deep in the forest that also serves as a deer-breeding center. Karamjol is one of the gateways to the majestic wildlife sanctuary, Sundarban.
- Visitors will be able to feast their eyes on diverse species of insects, mammals, birds (260 species), reptiles, and fish (120 species). Wildlife lovers can look forward to viewing Gangetic River Dophins, Salt-Water Crocodiles, deer, wild boar, ducks, monkeys, snakes, foxes, and the ever-elusive and graceful Royal Bengal Tiger. The tranquility of the dense forests and peaceful waters transports visitors into a magical wildlife kingdom.
After that, in the late afternoon, we’ll be back in Khulna. We’ll return to Dhaka by bus.
Day 6: Visit to Cox Bazar (February 26)
Take a flight and reach Cox Bazar in the afternoon.
- The iconic Cox's Bazar Beach is one of the prominent tourist destinations in Bangladesh. It’s a stunning location where you can go swimming, stroll, and watch the sun rise and set. It's a great beach to visit with friends, family, and visitors and to enjoy the amazing nature.
- Also, take a stroll along the fish market where you can find to see a variety of sea fish and other marine life.
- Visit Himchori National Park. Situated in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, it is a biodiverse sanctuary with tranquil beaches, wildlife, and lush forests. It has become popular as a destination for ecotourism.
- Inani Beach in Bangladesh is a beautiful coastal stretch, known for its rock and coral boulders. This beach is stunning since the sea is on one side and the hills are on the other. It attracts tourists with its golden sands, clear blue waters, and stone lines. Small marine fish, crabs, snails, and many other creatures can be found in the water that is stored between stones.
Day 7: Explore Jhinuk market and journey to Bandarban (February 27)
After waking up and having breakfast, you can plan morning activities on your own. Explore the beach area, take a stroll, and enjoy sea vibes.- Visit Jhinuk Market for shopping. It is a traditional market in Cox's Bazar. Numerous stores sell a wide range of Burmese goods, including culinary items, handcrafted goods, food products, and antiques. Every day, many tourists gather here for shopping. You can see many creative Periwinkle designers showcasing their unique creations in the marketplace.
- Head towards our next destination and go on a road trip to reach the Hotel at Bandarban, where we will spend the night. There is no hectic schedule for the day. Enjoy the scenic journey and a cozy hotel stay.
Day 8: Visit Bandarban Hills and Sightseeings (February 28)
- Take a thrilling drive in a vehicle or jeep to the picturesque location of Nil Giri, which offers expansive views. Capture the beautiful views and enjoy the nature.
- Proceed on your journey to Nilachal, a place renowned for its breathtaking views. Savor the calm ambiance and make lasting memories.
- Discover Kewkardong Hill, which is well-known for its natural beauty and hiking routes. Admire the breathtaking views and relish the beauty of the surroundings.
Day 9: Explore Rangamati (February 29)
Rangamati is the administrative headquarters of Bangladesh.
- Take a boat trip to Kaptai Lake. It is the largest artificial lake in Bangladesh.
- The boat will pass through a gorge to visit Subalong. This waterfall is known for its scenic beauty. You can take amazing shots here and make wonderful memories. Here you will get to know the tribes of Bangladesh and interact with them to get a closer view of their culture.
A luxurious lunch will be arranged at the restaurant run by the tribe called Chakma. You can explore here for the whole day.
Day 10: Visit Chittagong City & Fly to Dhaka (March 1)
The Chittagong City, also known as the Chitagaon, is the second largest city in Bangladesh. It is one of the world’s oldest ports.
- Explore the war symmetry. It's a memorial to the soldiers who died during World War II.
- Head to Patenga Beach which is known for its easy access and architectural beauty.
- If you have time then you can visit the Chittagong Ship Breaking Yard. It is the second largest ship dismantling site in the whole world. This stop will be optional.
After exploring this old heritage town fly back to Dhaka.
Day 11: Departure from Dhaka (March 2)
This is the end of this amazing journey. Fly back to Slovak with the beautiful memories of Bangladesh.
