3-Day AlUla Ridge Walk Weekend

Take a trip to AlUla, a place of unique natural and human heritage, and soak in some of the most breathtaking views you've ever seen. The rich heritage and remarkable natural beauty of AlUla, an ancient Arabic oasis city, are best portrayed on this two-night weekend camping trip, which includes two hikes: the Ridge Walk, a 4km hike to a viewpoint with spectacular views of AlUla, and a 6km nature walk deep inside Madakhel.

Itinerary

Day 1

Meet and greet at the designated meet up location in AlUla. You will undergo a thorough safety training before departing for the first campsite. Upon arrival at the campsite, set up the camp and enjoy a lovely dinner over the campfire.

Day 2

Get up early in the morning, enjoy a hearty meal, and then pack up camp. Drive to the trailhead to begin your 4 km walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views of AlUla. Continue on to Madakhel Canyon, where you will have your packed lunch, and embark on a 6 km nature walk. After the trek, head back to camp, unwind by the campfire, and enjoy a scrumptious grilled dinner.

Day 3

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a warm breakfast surrounded by AlUla’s scenic vistas, then make your way back to the Outpost where your adventure ends.

• Participants must be at least 12 years old to join the activity.

• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum is not met, you will be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

• This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded. 

• This experience requires a good level of fitness and involves a moderate amount of walking. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

• Itinerary is subject to change and the attractions may be closed due to traffic, weather, and force majeure. An alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on the situation.

• Delays, shortening of the tours, or omissions to the itinerary due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances are not subject to refund.
