Although Mayotte has breathtaking scenic views, this tour is primarily focused on birds. You will enjoy a full day of fun and uncomplicated birding to go search for a variety of birds, many of which are native to Comoros, such as the Karthala Scops Owl, Mohéli Scops Owl, Anjouan Scops Owl, and Mayotte Scops Owl. The scenery and the diversity of flora and fauna that one encounters along the route are just as amazing as the birding.

In addition to many other fascinating species, spot the Mayotte White-Eye and Mayotte Drongo, as well as Malagasy Pond Heron, Olive Bee-eater, Comoros Fody, Malagasy Turtle Dove, the enormous Comoros Olive Pigeon, Comoros Blue Pigeon, Frances's Sparrowhawk, Malagasy Black Swift, Malagasy Paradise Flycatcher, and Malagasy Bulbul.

Continue on to the mudflats, Time permitting, head to the mudflats to spot the Terek Sandpiper, Crab Plover, and Greater Sand Plover.
