Itinerary

Day 1 - Sambava

Arrive at Sambava Airport. Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Take time to freshen up and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2 - Sambava - Antalaha

Take a trip on the Bemarivo River to get a closer look at these incredibly beautiful natural areas. Drive up to Nosiarina, which is located on the river's banks, and then start navigating the river's crystal-clear waters between two wings of lush forest. You will also get a chance to observe the locals' way of life along the way. As you reach near the Soavoanio Coconut Plantation, one of the greatest plantations in the world, cross by car to reach the shore, then ride in a traditional pirogue to arrive in the town of Sambava. Continue to Antalaha by car along a gorgeous, panoramic road. You get to visit the residential town of Antalaha where you can stroll around the well-preserved old colonial administrative district.

Day 3 - Antalaha - Andapa 

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery featuring numerous valleys, rivers, and mountains as you drive through the inland and winding path to Andapa, one of Madagascar’s major rice-growing regions. After lunch, explore some places among bamboo forests, mountain valleys, and agricultural lands that are scented with exotic scents. Pay special attention to the biological plantation Beradaka, which is tucked away among mountains and fed by rivers, and the Antanetiambo Reserve, where you can watch flamingos in the late afternoon.

Day 4 - Andapa - Sambava

After breakfast, additional sightseeing will be done as time permits. After returning to Sambava, spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 5 - Sambava

Transfer to Sambava Airport for your journey back home.
