Itinerary

Day 1 - Nosy Be

Arrive at Fascene Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Take time to freshen up and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2 - Nosy Be - Anfiky - Mahamasina - Ankarana National Park

Get up early and leave Nosy Be for Ankify, where a car is waiting for you. After the transfer, make your way to Mahamasina, then stop at Ankarana National Park. A natural treasure renowned for its network of underground rivers and unique geological phenomenon of tsingies, Ankarana National Park offers a variety of landscape with a diverse range of trails. Hike through the nature reserve and get to encounter its impressive wildlife, including Nile crocodiles and blind cave fish, as well as stunning caves and underground rivers with underground dwellers. You can also spot a variety of lemur species, such as the crowned lemurs and northern ring-tailed mongooses.

Day 3 - Mahamasina - Red Tsingy - Antsiranana

After breakfast, go farther to the north where you will find a spectacular geological landscape shaped by climate change-related natural erosion and seepage. Visit the Red Tsingy Reserve to see the imposing Tsingy Rouge, one of the most spectacular natural phenomena in Madagascar. ​​

Day 4 - Antsiranana - the Three Bays - Antsiranana

Journey to the spectacular Three Bays and spend some downtime by the stunning white sand beaches after two strenuous days of exploration. The tranquility of the island is ideal for people seeking relaxation and a change of scenery. Take advantage of the stunning tropical beach where you may relax or participate in exciting water sports. Then, enjoy a delightful lunch at a typical eatery in Ramena, a fishing community. You can also transfer to Diego Suarez and watch the beautiful sunset on the beach before heading back to Antsiranana.

Day 5 - Antsiranana -  Amber Mountain National Park - Antsiranana

Visit Amber Mountain National Park for the day. Being the first national park in Madagascar, it safeguards a wide variety of animals and flora due to its distinct microclimates from Diego Suarez. Experience the diverse ecosystem of the forest, which includes lakes, waterfalls, tiny chameleons, and other endemic fauna. You will then be transported to Diego Suarez after dining at Joffre Ville.

Day 6 - Antsiranana - Ambilobe Local Market - Cocoa Plantation - Ambanja

Discover the rich cultural heritage of Madagascar and observe the locals’ way of life as you take a trip to the local market of the Antakarana tribe, which is open daily in Ambilobe. Check out the selection of fresh produce as well as local souvenir items you can take home with you. Then, continue to Ambanja to see the cocoa plantation before heading to the hotel. 

Day 7 - Ambanja - Ankify - Nosy Be

Spend the day at your own leisure. You may opt to explore the historic capital city of Nosy Be and get an insight into the fascinating past of one of Madagascar’s first colonial cities or head to the beautiful Andilana Beach to appreciate the majestic beauty of the island. End the day at the notable Mont Passot to enjoy the breathtaking sunset and stunning panoramas of the island.

Day 8 - Nosy Be

Check out from the hotel after breakfast. With the help of your guide, transfer to Fascene Airport for your journey back home.
