Itinerary

Day 1 - Nosy Be - Andilana Bay - Russian Bay

Meet and greet your guide at the designated pick up location, taking you to the first destination of your Malagasy adventure. Navigate Ampasindava Peninsula from Andilana Bay to reach Russian Bay, which is claimed to be one of the region’s anchorages and the site of an unrecorded episode of the Russo-Japanese War. Walk on a charming wooded hill with amazing views after lunch, or promenade in the tranquil waters of this enormous bay and its numerous coves. Dinner and overnight in bivouac on the beach.

Day 2 - Russian Bay - Baramamay

Cruise along the coast up to Baramamay. Although it is difficult to comprehend the size of the Baramamay Estuary as it penetrates through the narrow pass that preserves the lion-shaped rock formation, Baramamay is a popular route and is considered a safe stop for canoes, dhows, and schooners as well as for boaters. After lunch in the community of Ambariomena, go off to explore the vast mangrove and its incredible environment, which is home to a variety of birds, eagles, and bats. 

Day 3 - Baramamay - Nosy Iranja - Nosy Be

Get ready to unwind and join in on some fun water activities as you depart for the beautiful island of Nosy Iranja, two idyllic islands divided by a stretch of long, white sand that serves as a turtles' breeding ground. Visit the fishing community and climb the heights for a panoramic view from the abandoned lighthouse. Lunch will be served on board while the dhow travels around the Ampasindava Peninsula toward Nosy Be after one more refreshing dip in a picturesque setting. The tour will end with a drop off at a designated location.
