Nosy Komba is a small island near Nosy Be and has 4,000 inhabitants. It can be reached in less than 30 minutes from Nosy Be. The name Nosy Komba means lemur island and these cute animals are considered sacred by the people of Nosy Komba. During your excursion you’ll have the chance to meet the macacao lemurs. There is a splendid view from the top hill over the island which looks out over the ocean and nearby islands. Be sure to check out the handmade table cloths from cotton made by the local women, among local rum, spices, handcrafts and other unique souvenirs. Perfects gifts to bring home to your family! From Nosy Komba to Nosy Tanikely is another 30 minutes by boat. This marine reserve has an abundance of corals and great biodiversity harboring many marine species. Thanks to the warm tropical waters coming from the Sambirano River there is a large variety of animals living around the island. Take your time to explore this beautiful beach, have a swim in the turquoise water and let us know if you need any snorkeling material.
