In The Heart Of The Caribbean

Located 80km south of Cartagena about 10 km from the mainland is one of the best kept charms of the Colombian Caribbean. The archipelago of San Bernardo is comprised of 10 tranquil islands which offer a unique and private place of rest for all beachgoers. 

Day 1: Cartagena - Mucura Island

Kick off your day starting at 11 am with a (2hr) speedboat ride from Cartagena to the island Mucura. Upon arrival you will be greeted by the very accommodating staff of Punta Faro with an island drink followed by a delicious buffet lunch and some free time to explore this tropical treasure. Lots of water activities including, swimming, snorkelling are offered or if simply being a beachcomber with a cocktail suits your needs then we have it all. You also have the options provided by the hotel to take an ecological walk around the island and enjoy a boat tour to both Tintipan island and El Islote.

Day 2: Mucura Island

Today is your day to do as you please on the island. The hotel has many activities to offer such as snorkelling, paddle boarding, scuba diving, canoeing and catamaran options.

Day 3: Return To Cartagena

Your morning will begin with a boat transfer returning to Cartagena.
