Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the Dzaoudzi–Pamandzi International Airport. 

Explore the Dzaoudzi Village

Start your tour with stop at the Dzaoudzi Village. Wander around the village and take time to admire Mayotte’s remnants of the colonial era. Visit the notable Hotel Le Rocher, the former boarding house which is now the Heritage House, the old post office that dates back to 1845, or even the “Palais Eiffel," the Governor’s Palace.

Visit the Guerlain Plantation

Next, see the rows of Ylang-Ylang and an alley of coconut trees at the Guerlain Plantation. Explore the plantation and learn the process on how to make the famous Ylang-Ylang extract of some of the most famous fragrances. You will also stop by the remains of the famous perfumer’s house situated in the middle of the garden.

Do not miss out on Mayotte's beauty secret and learn about the secret to their traditional beauty mask. Made of sandalwood grated on a coral stone, this mask is worn by locals, particularly women, on a daily basis to provide a natural protection against the sun and helps with skin impurities. Head to the bustling Mamoudzou Market. Wander around the market, observe the daily life of the locals, and discover wide array of local fruits, delicacies, and spices as well as locally produced handicrafts.

Observe the Sea Turtles at N’Gouja Beach

Continue to the one of the famous Mayotte beaches, N’Gouja Beach. Here you will get to swim with the sea turtles, relax under the iconic giant baobab tree, and watch the playful lemurs leap from branch to branch.
