It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway with your partner to what is most likely the most classy, stylish, and luxurious destination in the Middle East.
On this 6-day tour from Jeddah to Riyadh, we have carefully selected hotels and restaurants for your maximum comfort. All throughout this luxurious holiday, you will be accompanied by a professional English-speaking guide who will make sure you will get not only a great tour but an experience of a lifetime you won't soon forget.
Day 1: Arrival in Jeddah
Welcome to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our guide will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome and assist you. You will then be escorted to your hotel in our brand new Toyota LandCruiser (or similar model) where you will be shown your room at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The hotel maintains elements of its palatial roots, welcoming hotel guests with a magnificent fountain, majestic arches, and traditional Saudi-Arabian hospitality. Set along Al Hamra corniche and overlooking the Red Sea, the five-star hotel is a destination for international business travelers, newlyweds, pilgrims and families, and couples seeking a weekend escape. The hotel offers excellent dining and at the dessert-focused Karamel Lounge where you can have an excellent afternoon tea. There is a spa and fitness room available as well. After a quick briefing with your guide, the rest of the day will be at your leisure.
Day 2: Jeddah City Tour
Start the tour at UNESCO World Heritage-listed Al Balad, the historical area of Jeddah, and stroll along the ancient winding alleys and through its wood and coral-made old ottoman houses. One of the most eye-catching and historically important ones is the Nasif House which was built in the 1850s by the well-known Nasif family. Today, this beautiful mansion is turned into a cultural site open for everyone.
Continue to the state-of-the-art Jeddah Corniche, a major attraction that acts as an open-air museum with modern sculpture displays and a hangout place for the locals. We'll also stop by the Al Tayebat Museum and Al Rahma Floating Mosque, also known as the White Mosque. One or two art galleries later, you'll stop for lunch at an authentic restaurant, followed by tea.
Dinner and accommodation will be at Ritz-Carlton or a similar hotel.
Day 3: Al-'Ula
Head to the airport after breakfast for a direct morning flight to Al-'Ula. Al-'Ula is the gateway to Madain Saleh, the first UNESCO World Heritage site of Saudi Arabia and considered to be one of the world's most fascinating sites for antiquities.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and go on a quick market tour. The vibrant market offers everything from dates, figs, citrus, and olives to premium moringa oil. Then, check-in at Sahary Resort, a charming camp that offers great mountain views and is also ideal for stargazing.
Dinner and accommodation will be at Sahary Resort but can be upgraded to Shaden Resort upon request and depending on availability.
Day 4: Al-'Ula
Start your day with a visit to Hegra, the largest conserved site of the Nabataean civilization where 111 immaculately preserved tombs can be found. You'll also explore the ancient wells and water channels, as well as the remnants of the old walls, gates, and towers. From here, venture to the city of Dadan, a well-known stop-over site built in the 7th century BC for travelers, and the Jabal Hikmah Mountain. Of course, a visit to Al-'Ula will not be complete without visiting the only 'elephant' of Saudi Arabia. The Elephant Rock is actually an elephant-shaped 52-meter tall natural wonder and sits in a desert surrounded by other magnificent red rocks.
Dinner and accommodation will be at Sahary Resort or a similar hotel.
Day 5: Riyadh
Hop on a plane to Riyadh and check-in at Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya upon arrival. Your hotel is located in the city center, and close to the Olaya Towers, King Abdullah Financial District, Tahlia Street, and Centria, Riyadh's most luxurious mall.
Depending on the time of your arrival and departure in the capital, we'll squeeze in as many attractions as possible, upon request, of course, and without compromising comfort. We may visit the National Museum and the Al Masmak Fortress, a 150-year old clay, and the mud-brick garrison turned museum. The Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Grand Mosque, an active place of worship, Qasr Al Hukm, Saudi Arabia's traditional seat of the government, and the captivating green and white Clock Tower in the shape of an Egyptian needle are also worth a visit. We can also stop by Dukhanah and the Athomairy Gates before strolling around Deira Souk, one of the main souks in the city where you can find carpets, gold, souvenirs, and more. If you want we can also free up some time to visit one of the excellent art galleries the city has to offer.
Drinks will be at one of the best restaurants in Riyadh and accommodation at Hyatt Regency.
Day 6: Departure from Riyadh
