Caribbean Expedition from Bogota

TOUR ITINERARY: 

Day 1: Arrival in Bogota

Upon your arrival, a van will pick you up at the airport with your guide. You will then head out to Casa Deco where you will be staying for the night. Enjoy the first glimpse of Colombia's capital in your free time at night. 

Day 2: Bogota to Cartagena 

You will head out to the airport for your flight to Cartagena after your breakfast in Casa Deco. Your local guide in Cartagena will be waiting for you with a sign at the airport and will take you to Casa de Lucy where you will stay for the next couple of days. In the afternoon, trace down the trails of the pirates and be astonished by the Pearl of the Caribbean. Your walking tour in the afternoon will start as you head travel back to Colonial-era on your visit to the Historic City Center. Your next stops will be the lively and flamboyant plazas and other historical sites in Colombia, la Plaza de Los Coches, Plaza de la Aduana, the Bolivar Park, the Gold Musem, la Plaza de Santa Teresa, Plaza de Santo Domingo, the city walls and las Bóvedas. You will travel back to the casa to end your tour. 

Day 3: Cartagena

Together with our well-versed tour guides, beat the heat of the Colombian sun by riding in our airconditioned car and enjoy the best private trip around in Cartagena. Your tour will start after your breakfast, you will be visiting Convent La Popa and enjoy the panoramic view. Next stop will be the popular district of Getsemani, and your last will be San Felipe Castle before your late lunch back at the hotel. Around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, you will head to La Boquila village for a canoe trip by the mangroves. Take in the calming landscapes, and be one with nature surrounded by the hums of birds. Head back to Cartagena around 7 o'clock in the evening. 

Day 4: Cartagena - San Andrés 

After your breakfast, you will set off to Cartagena airport for your flight to San Andrés. Upon your arrival in Providencia, your local guide and van will drop you off at your accommodation. You will be staying at Cocoplum for the night, with breakfast included. Enjoy the afternoon at the beach and exploring the island.  

Day 5: San Andrés - Providencia

Gear up for another flight to San Andrés and enjoy another venture in Providencia, your local guide and van will drop you off at your accommodation. You will be staying at Sirius for the next 3 nights, with breakfast included. Enjoy the afternoon at the beach and exploring the island. 

Day 6: Providencia 

On this day, you will discover the cultural, historical and natural heritage of Providencia. Sail off in the pristine waters of the Caribbean, and uncover la Cabeza de Morgan, el Puente de Los Enamorados and appreciate the most impressive Oceanic Park in the western hemisphere the McBean Lagoon Natural National Park. The Cayo Candrejo homes observe the hundreds of colorful fishes, urchins, and other sea creatures this small island is located in McBean Lagoon Natural Park. The last stops will be the astounding beaches of Manzanillo and Suroeste. 

Day 7: Providencia

After your breakfast, enjoy the beaches and various activities available on the island. Your tour guide will be recommending some activities for your free day but will be in your own expense. 

Day 8: Providencia - Bogotá

This is your last day on the island, you will head back to Bogata. Upon your arrival in Bogota, a van will be waiting to drop you off at Casa Deco where you will be staying for the night. Enjoy your free time strolling the streets or watching performances on nearby plazas. 

Day 9: Bogotá - Bogotá Airport 

After your breakfast, you will head out for your morning walking tour for 4 hours. Your first stop will be the Colonial Center, la Candelaria is filled with charismatic houses decorated with hand-carved wood and flowery patios. A quick visit to Plaza de Bolivar and the Chorro de Quevedo Plaza to admire the artworks of Fernando Botero. Your van will drop you off for your international flight. Your tour ends.
