A small coffee town located in the lower part of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Minca gives you the opportunity to explore an incredible array of nature including rivers, tropical vegetation, and endemic species!
What to Expect
This morning, you will depart from your accommodation in Santa Marta toward Minca. Once you arrive at Minca this morning your local guides will greet you. and brief you on the experiences for the day.Today will also include some light hiking as we trek toward a local farm to get an overview of the coffee process before it is ultimately being enjoyed by you! The first hike will be about 1 hour this morning.
From here you can look forward to taking a little dip in a natural pool located about 45 minutes trekking from the coffee farm. Enjoy your dip and relaxing because there is another little hiking adventure to your next stop which is, lunch. Lunch with a view may we add!
The rest of the afternoon you can anticipate cultural tours of the biodiversity of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, tasting of cocoas, and tasting of chocolate.
We will head back to Santa Marta today around 5pm.
