What to Expect


This morning you will meet your guide at our team's office around 6am. From here we will depart on a 2.5 hours journey to San Francisco (not the Golden Gate bridge San Fran of course). 

We will then give our body some of the best local fuel (El palacio de los Frijoles) at our favorite restaurant with a mountain view. Once we are fed and full we will begin with a 1.5 hour hike down the jungle canyon. We will have mules today to do the hard work and carry the gear down for us.  

Finally, we are at the water - the Rio Verde from which we will raft into the Rio Samana. 

Stopping along the way for a scenic lunch with a great view. From here, jump in and cool off in the pools below and explore a hidden waterfall in the jungle. We will continue rafting toward the biggest rapids at the end. 


Our driver will meet us at the end where we will depart back for Medellin arriving around 7PM.
