Day 1: Santa Marta / Mulkuakungui Community

Start the trip to Mulkuakungui Community early in the morning, passing by the imposing landscape of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Arrive at Villa Kogui Limitrofe where a family from the ethnic group will be hosting your stay. Mingle with the family and learn about their stories and traditions, the art of weaving, and the importance of coca leaf and poporo in their lives.

At noontime, share a delicious traditional lunch with the family before enjoying a tour around the village. You'll also have time to experience a relaxing bath in the Quebrada del Sol. In the evening, have the opportunity to hear the interesting ancestral stories of Mother Nuvita, a highly respected member of the group.

Day 2: Mulkuakungui Community / Santa Marta

Wake up to the relaxing sounds of nature and have a hearty breakfast with your host family. Spend a few more hours in the community, learning about ancestral arts, and observing the daily life in this small and peaceful community. After lunch, begin your descent to your jump-off point. Your tour vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your Santa Marta accommodation.
