Cartagena City Tour

From your chosen accommodation, a guide will pick you up to start your day trip to the city of Cartagena. Your first stop will be the Monasterio La Papa, one of the most visited tourist destinations in Cartegena. It sits on top of the hill and provides a fantastic view of the Cartegena. Monasterio La Popa is a colonial design building and rumors say that the Monasterio was build in the top to drive away bad spirits from sacrifices in the early centuries. Stroll and take pictures on their charming flower-filled patio and learn the history as you stroll through the Monasterio.

The next stop will be the Castillo de San Felipe which stands proudly up to this day. This fortress was truly impregnable and is considered to be the greatest fortress built by the Spaniards 480 years ago. Walking tour in the castle, tunnel explorations, and a lot of photo opportunities await you. Before your last stop, feel free to ask your tour guide for a recommendation for lunch. 

Centro Historico is your key and last stop on this trip, enjoy walking and wander on its Instagram worthy streets, visit cafes and bars, and shop on tiny stalls along the way. Colorful buildings and flowers are there to charm you on your trip. You will be transferred back to your accommodation after the tour.
