Medellin Coffee Tour

Visiting a coffee farm in Colombia is an authentic, cultural experience not to be missed.

Just 15 minutes from the city of Medellín, this half-day tour on a coffee farm is interactive and hands-on. Go on walks through the farm’s beautiful creek-side hill. Harvest coffee, and learn the folkloric history of the coffee process from the farmer’s passionate and eccentric coffee grower. Discover why this farm’s coffee holds Colombia’s highest coffee certificate.

This trip is a relaxing break in the fresh air. With a required fitness level at 1 out of 5, you don’t have to worry about doing anything physically but the ability to walk on the hillside terrain is necessary.

What to expect

Meet your driver at  9 AM at our offices near El Poblado in Medellin. From here we will drive about 15 minutes to the hillsides to begin our coffee experience! Your guide today will explain the entire process from seed to cup. You will enjoy a walking tour of the farms plantation and traditional processing facilities. 

You will have a chance to harvest your own beans and even weigh your pickings. Of course you can also enjoy some coffee while you are here today. The soft balanced coffee (100% Colombian of course) will have notes of fruits and cherries - taste for yourself! 

We will depart the farm back for Medellin around 11:45am arriving by about noon depending on traffic.
