San Augustin Archeological Park Day Tour

The San Agustin Archaeological Park situated just a couple minutes away from town encompasses three main groups of monuments and regional sculptures.
The main parks Alto de los idolos and Alto de las Piedras are the paragon of the show with all the largest and most monumental carved stones, tombs, columns, terraces and funeral mounds.
The natives from the first and eighth centuries who resided close by thought of this land to be spiritual, a place of worship for the dead ancestors. 

What to expect

Meet at our San Augustin office at 8 am to depart for the park. Once here you will meet with our professional and devoted guide to escort you through a walk of time dating back hundreds of years to the beginning of civilization where you can admire over 200 statues and figures.
You will then return to our office in San Augustin at 6pm
