Get to experience the rich culture, history, and arts of Nigeria on this 10-day tour of Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, and Kano. Explore the country's diverse geography, climates and people as you visit local hangouts, natural landmarks, culture and history-rich establishments, religious and spiritual sites, and so much more.

Day 1: Arrival in Lagos

Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport by your guide/driver. From here you will transfer to your hotel/resort for rest and the evening.  

Day 2: Lagos

Start your day with a visit to Tinubu Square, a prominent landmark in Lagos named after a Nigerian businesswoman and patriot. Then, your guide will show you around, stopping by to taking photos at the other city landmarks, before enjoying an early dinner at a local restaurant. End the day at the beach and marvel at the view of the glorious sun as it sets.

Day 3: Lekki

Today, visit Lekki Conservation Centre where you'll be greeted by monkeys, crocodiles, and birds while on a canopy walk. Then, see interesting art pieces and know more about Nigeria's most important artist, Nike Okundaye, at the enormous Nike Art Gallery. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to a nearby beach where you can enjoy swimming and surfing.

Day 4: Badagry

Be taken back in time into the Slave Trade Era in Lagos State and discover the history of slavery on the Western Coast on today's tour of Badagry. Explore Badagry Slave Museum, Vekelete Slave Market, and Mobee Royal Family Slave Relics Museum Badagry, all of which testify to and show the marks of the cruelty of European traders and their allies during the slave trading period. Continue to the Makoko area, where a third of the community is built on stilts along the lagoon.

Day 5: Lagos-Abuja

Hop on an air-conditioned vehicle that will take you to Abuja, an amazing city offering a ton of green spaces and emits a more laid-back vibe. After a long day of traveling, your driver/guide will drop you off at your hotel.

Day 6: Abuja

Today, you will explore Abuja and its beautiful city landscape. Visit a local craft center for some display and sales of authentic African handicrafts before taking a photo stop at the National Christian Centre. Marvel at the beauty of the Abuja National Mosque, an imposing modern landmark that you can't miss while touring the city center. You will also stop by a viewpoint of Zuma Rock, a 300 meter-high monolith located west of the city and often referred to as the "Gateway to Abuja from Suleja".

Day 7: Abuja-Kaduna

Enjoy a panoramic experience as you board a train from Abuja to Kaduna. Upon arrival, take a sightseeing tour of the city located in north-central Nigeria. Visit Lord Lugard Hall, a legislative assembly building, then take a trip to the market and craft shops in the city.

Day 8: Kaduna-Zaria-Kano

Go further up north to the city of Zaria, an ancient city and was once a powerful emirate. Visit the Emir's Palace and see the magnificent traditional architecture of the building. Continue your trip to Kano where you'll have lunch and the rest of the day to yourself.

Day 9: Kano

Explore the city of Kano and learn more about its rich history and culture. Try your hands at tie and dye at the Kofar Mata dye pits then get a taste of the local life as you try some mouthwatering delicacies with the locals at Kurmi Market. Then, visit Gidan Makama Museum and the Emir's Palace, where you'll get an insight into the long and distinguished history of Kano. You will also visit Ancient Kano City Walls, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed Site which is an ancient defensive wall built to protect the inhabitants of the city in the mid 14th century. 

Day 10: Kano-Lagos

After breakfast, depart to the airport for your flight to Lagos.
