Al-Ghat Traditional Village Tour from Riyadh

Located 200 km northwest of Riyadh is the small town of Al-Ghat, one of the largest and best-preserved traditional villages of Saudi Arabia. A brilliant example of Nadji architecture, this clay and mud village is an ancient oasis situated on the gentle slopes of a valley.

Upon arrival, stroll around the main street that will bring you to the iconic buildings of the site, including an old souq, mosque, and the impressive Emara Palace which is now a museum. You will also visit the town's nature reserve and dam as well as Al Rahmaniya cultural center and gardens.

Head back to Riyadh in the afternoon but not before stopping for a delicious local lunch.
