(Note: This tour is NOT comfortable, and is not a mainstream route or destination. Tourists do not go here. It is for serious explorers or anybody who wants to get WAY off the beaten path. There aren't opportunities for sightseeing or comfort, for special diets or luxuries, or for tourist cultural experiences. The whole trip and the transit IS the experience, and is rough, and very tiring.)

DAY 1 : TOAMASINA-SOANIERAN’IVONGO

Leaving Toamasina in afternoon

Dinner and overnight at hotel le Fumet or similar

DAY 2: SOANIERAN’IVONGO-MANOMPANA

Taking the first ferry soon in the morning

Dinner and overnight at hotel Engrenage or similar

DAY 2 : MANOMPANA – ANTANAMBE

After the breakfast, visit a reserve Ambodiriana ( 240 ha, you can find Avahi larriger, Aye Aye, Eulemur rubriventer, Indri, Indri, uroplatus fimbrietus, orchids…)

Dinner and overnight at hotel Chez Grondin

DAY 3: ANTANAMBE-MANANARA

Antanambe  is famous by his white sand, we can swim

After the breakfast, continuation to Mananara

Dinner and overnight at hotel Chez Roger

DAY 4: MANANARA

Visit the private small island for birdwatching

And visit Reserve Biosphère

DAY 6: MANANARA- MAROANTSETRA ( 102 km)

 Continuation by off road car

Dinner and overnight at hotel Hyppocampe or similar

DAY 7: MAROANTSETRA

Visit the City, its is famous by his handicraft

DAY 8: MAROANTSETRA- MASOALA

After breakfast,  transfer by boat to Nosy MANGABE before going to Masoala

DAY 9: -MASOALA 

this park ( 235 000 ha) is the biggest in Madagascar where you can find 11 species of lemurs, 60 species of reptiles, 40 species of amphibiens, 4 species of marines turtles, 102 species of birds

DAY 10: MASOALA

Visit Park Masoala

DAY 11: MASOALA -MAROANTSETRA

Return by boat

Return by plane
