Best of Moheli Tour : Sweet and Cheap Value Package Tour - Moheli 5 Days 4 Nights Inclusive Tour from Fomboni
The most resplendent with marine life and vistas in the Comorian archipelago, Moheli is a marine biologists paradise with some o the least-known beautiful beaches on earth. Moheli Marine reserve and the islets on the south and east are nesting grounds for turtles, whale passages, dolphin pod parties, and the interior of the island is decked with kaleidoscopic flowers and green cliffs, strange rock formations, and pristine beaches. A great package all in, Moheli is likely the best of Comoros and Mayotte if you just have to pick one.
Day 1:
Arrive today at Fomboni airport, where you will be met with a warm salutation and then begin land transfer to the hotel after briefly touring the city, the lively capital of Moheli. Head down the beach to check the rooms and complete installation at the beach hotel Lake Lodge where you can relax and take in the view of the remote marine wilderness.

Day 2:
We start up the day with a pickup at Laka Lodge, after breakfast, and head to board the watercraft and embark on a loop of Moheli to watch for dolphins, marine life, and excursion into the Moheli Marine Park rimming the south of the lowest latitude of the Comorian archipelago. From here we spend a day circling the Moheli Marine Park and looking out for Marine Life, cruising the sapphire blue lagoon inlets, spotting dolphins and even whales at certain times of the year, and seeing the Comorian catch come in, as well as some of the most stunning sunsets and landscapes in the entire Indian Ocean!
Today spend the day rounding the sites and delights of Moheli, seeing the endemic marine buffer beauty of the shores of Comoros' most pretty isle. We will cruise around the island for most of the day and it is a private tour, so bring as much water as you may need for the day and any food or snacks.
A lot of totally endemic plants and birds, all rare by their very essence of evolving on a remote detached island, live within the island and the water surrounding it, especially in the shallow parts. We will try to spot them from the boat and beachside today as we go. The 10 jurisdictions or neighborhoods around the park help co-manage the conservation and preservation of the park in cooperation and transaction with the national government of the Comoros.

Day 3:
We start up the day with a pickup at Laka Lodge, after breakfast, and head to embark on a loop of Moheli to explore the southernmost island of the sparkling sapphire archipelago. We head to the far east to Itsamia first, to see the turtles. Then, we delve further into the terrestrial natural beauty of Moheli, walking in the green jungles and heading to Wallah Waterfalls to relax and enjoy the magnificent landscapes. We finally head to Miremani at the end of the tour to enjoy the other cascades and can look out for tons of marine birds and dolphins in the area as well, near Itsamia who hosts the turtles. We will spend some time in the interior, before trekking lightly to Wallah Waterfalls to admire the beauty. We end at Miremani for some other cascades and one of the most beautiful meetings of rainforests, rivers, and sea in the Comoros.

Day 4
We start up the day with a pickup at Laka Lodge, after breakfast, and head around the circle road of the island to take in the towns, mosques, markets, history, and the BEST food and favorite secluded beach spots to make the most of your time on a trip or excursion. ---- and you don't have to drive! From here we spend the first earliest part of the day sweeping through the mosques and marketplaces and mud and metal huts of Fomboni and Nioumachoua, and combing the haunts and history of the original inhabitants of the Comoran archipelago, who brushed the fame and fortunes of the Portugese traders and Magellan all the way to Captain Cook and the Libertalia Pirates. We see the tiny sparkling islets of Nyumashiwa off the southern coast, and try all of the tastes of town at the market and head to the oldest church at Miringoni, away further in Moheli. We finish with a lovely time on a secluded beach to relax and relish the waves of the remotest part of the Indian Ocean.
Today we taste some snacks and spices/flavors that are famed and endemic (and historic) in Comoros too, and then hit the ring road to circle the island's best beaches while gazing out at the pristine islet and marine reserve offshore. It can take the whole day for the roundtrip circuit through the island to the stretches where we can enjoy swimming and serenity, so bring as much water as you may need for the day and any comfort snacks.
A lot of totally endemic plants and birds, all rare by their very essence of evolving on a remote detached island, live within the marine buffer zones and some around the rock outcroppings lining the coast. We will try to spot them in the nature and remote fringe reefs today as we go.
