Covering 3 countries in West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, and Niger), the W Park takes its name from the majestic Niger River. It is the largest trans-boundary biosphere area of the world. The wildlife viewing and an extraordinary diversity of birds can be experienced away from the crowds that characterize safaris in East Africa and Southern Africa.

With thousands of kilometers of unspoiled savanna, Park W provides one of the last opportunities to explore an area of rare beauty for lovers of untamed Africa, and conceals treasures to be discovered over a vast, chillingly human-free area of raw wilderness. This is the Africa guests are supposed to experience in the tourist nations of the East and South. But sadly find elusive today...It is also a fraction of the price of those.

You can see four of the BIG FIVE : elephant , buffalo, lion and leopard, as well as some of the largest African mammals, such as cob Buffon , the hippotragus , the hippo, the oueribi, gazelle, cheetah, wild dog, and more. In total, more than 480 species of birds are present in the protected area.
