Day 1: Welome!
Arrival in Moroni. Upon arrival Guests will be met at the airport by our team and from here trasferred to the hotel for the night. Hotel is Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort or similar.
Day 2: Moroni Exploration
Depart the hotel this morning for a tour in Moroni. Todays tour can included
- Visit the Ithandara Palace and learn about its historical significance.
- View the famous Baobab Tree, a true symbol of the island's natural heritage.
Explore the Mosque and Tomb of Comoros’ first pilgrims, an important religious site.
Visit the Salt Lake, where the sulfur-rich waters have healing properties, notably for skin conditions. The color of the water changes seasonally, turning green during the rainy months and brown in the dry season.
Proceed to Dragon's Rock, an intriguing rock formation shaped like a dragon’s tail or dinosaur, believed by locals to be the resting place of a prehistoric dragon that swam across the ocean to Comoros.
After the tour, guests will return to Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort.
Day 3: Iconic Comoros Sights & Departure
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, the day will begin with a tour to the Iconi Medina, followed by a visit to a picturesque lake and the Palace of the Comorian people.
Explore the Comoros Football Stadium and its associated museum, highlighting the island's passion for sports and culture.
Visit the Medina of Itsandra, a fascinating ancient town, and the witchcraft houses within the village, offering a glimpse into local traditions and beliefs.
After the tour, guests will be transferred to the airport for their onward flight, marking the end of Comoros services.
