Itinerary


Day 1 - Gilgit - Karimabad

Arrive at Gilgit Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to a scenic drive to Karimabad, offering panoramic views of the spectacular mountain ranges, including the majestic Rakaposhi Peak. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation, and if time permits, visit the historic forts of Hunza to enjoy their breathtaking panoramic views.


Day 2 - Hunza Valley

Venture deeper into the famous Hunza Valley, where you will embark on an exciting horseback riding adventure. Experience the warm hospitality and immerse yourself in the local culture by staying at a charming homestay. Indulge in delicious local cuisine and savor the traditional tea, all while surrounded by the mesmerizing splendor of Hunza.


Day 3 - Avgarch Valley

Explore the history of the Avgarch Valley, which is home to fortified towns and historic structures. This valley, which is covered in rich green juniper trees and framed by magnificent mountains like the Qaroon peak, is a haven for a variety of species, including markhoors, foxes, hares, wolves, and even snow leopards. Spend the night at a local guesthouse and enjoy the wilderness.


Day 4 - Karakoram Highway

Set out on an exciting drive down the legendary Karakoram Highway, which is known for its breathtaking views and as the home of the rare snow leopard. Stop by the Khunjerab National Park, where you may come across wildlife among the mountains. Yak riding is a one-of-a-kind adventure near the Chinese border. Spend the night in a small hotel in Passu.


Day 5 - Fairy Meadows

Begin the day with a lovely scenic drive to Fairy Meadows, a well-known site with picturesque grasslands and stunning vistas of Nanga Parbat. This mountain is a challenging eight-thousander and a popular mountaineering destination. Immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings and spend the night at a nearby hotel.


Day 6 - Nanga Parbat

Embark on a four-hour trek through the spectacular Fairy Meadows vistas, culminating in the Nanga Parbat base camp. Take in the spectacular grandeur of the surroundings and spend the night at a local guest house.


Day 7 - Skardu

Travel to Skardu, taking in the breathtaking scenery along the route, after spending some time in Fairy Meadows. Arrive in Skardu late in the afternoon and check into your hotel.


Day 8 - Basho Valley

Embark on a full-day excursion near Skardu, exploring the magnificent Basho Valley with its majestic mountains. Visit Upper Kachura, home to three lakes and a haven for migratory birds. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the famous Kharpocho Fort. Experience a unique glamping site in the "cold desert," offering panoramic views. Unwind around a campfire in the evening.


Day 9 - Islamabad

Say goodbye to Skardu and make your way to the airport for your flight back to Islamabad. Upon arrival, you can spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.


Day 10 - Peshawar

Set out early in the morning for Peshawar, where you'll meet our guide and spend the day experiencing the city's rich cultural legacy, historical sites, and dynamic environment.

  • This tour is suitable for adventure seekers with a moderate level of fitness. Previous horse riding experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Basic horse riding instructions and safety guidelines will be provided.

  • Hunza Valley generally has pleasant weather with cool temperatures. However, weather conditions can change, so it's recommended to bring warm clothing, including layers, a waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes or boots, and a sun hat.
