Itinerary


Day 1 - Islamabad - Gilgit

Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to a picturesque flight to Gilgit, offering panoramic views of the spectacular mountain ranges. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation to rest and enjoy a delightful welcome dinner.


Day 2 - Karimabad

Immerse yourself in the region's rich history and traditions as you drive to Karimabad, the heart of the Hunza Valley. Explore Karimabad's bustling streets and markets, interacting with friendly locals and experiencing the vibrant Hunza culture. You will also visit the ancient Baltit Fort, an architectural masterpiece with beautiful valley views.


Day 3 - Morkhun - Attabad Lake

Drive from Karimabad to Morkhun, where your horseback riding journey begins. Meet your knowledgeable guides and your well-trained horses before starting your exhilarating ride towards Attabad Lake, going through incredible scenic routes and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy the spectacular views of the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains. You will camp on the lake and have a lovely dinner beneath the stars.


Day 4 - Attabad Lake - Avgarch Valley

Continue your horseback riding adventure from Attabad Lake to the Avgarch Valley. Ride along the rushing river, taking in the surrounding mountains. Meet a variety of animals, including Himalayan ibex, golden eagles, and, if you're lucky, the elusive snow leopards.Afterwards, set up camp in the Avgarch Valley and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. You will also have the opportunity to share stories and experiences with your fellow adventurers over a campfire dinner.


Day 5 - Boibar Valley

Set out on an exciting journey from the Avgarch Valley to the Boibar Valley. Travel across the rugged terrain, crossing streams and ascending to higher elevations. Meet the beautiful glaciers and discover nature's majestic wonders. You will also get to learn the history of the ancient juniper trees, some of which are thought to be thousands of years old. Keep an eye out for wildlife sightings and take stunning images. Afterwards, camp in the center of the Boibar Valley, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.


Day 6 - Morkhun - Islamabad

Return from the Boibar Valley to Morkhun. As you finish your horseback riding adventure, say goodbye to your horses and guides. Return to Gilgit, taking in the scenery one final time. Depending on your flight itinerary, either transfer to the airport for your journey back to Islamabad or check into a Gilgit hotel.

  • This tour is suitable for adventure seekers with a moderate level of fitness. Previous horse riding experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Basic horse riding instructions and safety guidelines will be provided.

  • Arrival time at each location may vary depending on the season.

  • Hunza Valley generally has pleasant weather with cool temperatures. However, weather conditions can change, so it's recommended to bring warm clothing, including layers, a waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes or boots, and a sun hat.

  • If there is insufficient time for all attractions/destinations on the itinerary, the tour guide will adjust the length of time spent at other attractions/destinations. 

  • Delays, shortening of the tours, or omissions to the itinerary due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances are not subject to refund.
