Itinerary


Day 1 - Islamabad - Chilas

Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport and start your journey towards Chilas, a picturesque town nestled along the banks of the Indus River. Pass by the picturesque Nanga Parbat, the world's ninth-highest peak, on the way. You will then stop at Besham for lunch before heading on to Chilas. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation to rest and enjoy a delightful, traditional meal.


Day 2 - Chilas - Hunza

Begin the day with a scenic drive through the Karakoram Highway towards Hunza. Stop along the way to see the old rock carvings at Shatial as well as the spectacular geological formations at the confluence of the Indus and Gilgit rivers. You will also visit Gilgit, the administrative capital of the Gilgit-Baltistan province. Arrive in Hunza in the evening and settle into your hotel before enjoying a fantastic dinner.


Day 3 - Hunza Valley

Spend the day exploring the Hunza Valley, one of Pakistan's most scenic regions. We'll visit the 900-year-old Altit and Baltit Forts, which showcase Hunza architecture and culture. We will also see the picturesque Attabad Lake, which was formed by a landslide in 2010, as well as the scenic Passu Cones, a series of tall, thin rocks rising from the valley floor. 


Day 4 - Hunza - Sost

Continue on the Karakoram Highway towards the Pakistan-China border. Travel through various small villages before crossing the Khunjerab Pass, the world's highest paved international border crossing. Arrive in Sost in the evening, a little town on the Pakistan-China border. Afterwards, check into your accommodation and then enjoy a scrumptious dinner.


Day 5 - Sost - Kashgar

Cross the border into China and continue on your way to Kashgar. Travel through beautiful scenery and stop at a few quaint villages along the way. Arrive in Kashgar in the evening, a historically significant city on the ancient Silk Route.


Day 6 - Kashgar

Spend the day discovering Kashgar's historical and cultural landmarks. See the Id Kah Mosque, China's largest mosque, and the Kashgar Old Town, a tangle of small alleyways and traditional courtyard residences. You will also stop by the famed Sunday Bazaar, where you can shop for unique local handicrafts and souvenirs.


Day 7 - Kashgar - Islamabad

Head to Kashgar Airport to catch your flight back to Islamabad. Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.


Day 8 - Islamabad

Check out from the hotel after breakfast, then make your way to Islamabad International Airport for your journey back home.
