Itinerary


Day 1 - Andapa

Arrive at Andapa Airport. Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Take time to freshen up and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2 - Andapa - Marojejy

Spend the day getting back in touch with nature at the Marojejy National Park! Undeniably a lover of nature’s paradise, the Marojejy National Park is home to numerous endemic flora and fauna with every route offering the best chances to find rare plants as well as wild inhabitants. You will also have the opportunity to see a variety of other wildlife animals throughout the walk, including the Madagascar Serpent Bird. Then, continue to the well-known Humbert Falls to add a special touch to an already fantastic day before calling it a day.

Day 3 - Marojejy - Vohemar

Visit the Marojejy National Park one more time before heading to your next destination. Although you could spend days exploring the park, stay a little bit longer in the morning to appreciate the beauty of nature. The reserve is home to many of the nation's most well-known furry friends, including the elusive Silky Sifaka (Simpona), and the hike will immerse you in a colorful and especially diversified array of nature. You may also opt to climb Mount Marojejy to enjoy incredible views of the reserve. Afterwards, depart for Vohemar in the afternoon, where you will check into a hotel for the night.

Day 4 - Vohemar - Anjoaty Park and Lac Vert

Explore the town of Iharana, also known as Vohemar in Malagasy, and take a side trip to Anjoaty Park. Learn about the Sakalava Anjoaty Tribe and their story as you discover the beauty of Madagascar’s Northern SAVA. You will also head to the mystical Andranotsara Lake (Green Lake) and hear fascinating tales about the green-colored lake. Then, take time to explore the town, known as one of the Vanilla Commerce Hub in Madagascar, before heading back to the hotel. 

Day 5 - Vohemar - Antalaha  

Discover the notable treasures of the SAVA region as you visit the Soavoanio Coconut Plantation! Aside from cocoa and vanilla, SAVA is also known for one of the largest coconut plantations in the world. Take a trip through an area of the plantation and learn more about the exotic tree. Afterwards, continue to Antalaha for the Ambohimanitra Domain, where vanilla is offered in all varieties. End the day with a trip to Macolline Botanical Path of Antalaha. 

Day 6 - Antalaha  

Spend the day exploring the small yet charming town of Antalaha and see its artisanal dhow shipyards as well as the facilities used to prepare the world’s best vanilla, which is staffed by some of Madagascar’s nicest people. You will then enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 7 - Antalaha - Sambava

Transfer to Sambava Airport for your journey back home.
