TOUR ITINERARY 


3 DAY TOUR IN ENUGU 

Day 1: Arrival and Ngwo Cave and Pine Forest 

An airport representative will be waiting at the airport as soon as you arrive.  You are just 15 minutes away from one if the sought after 3-star hotels in Enugu — Nike Lake Resort! Your accommodation at Nike Lake Resort will include full board meals. After dropping your gear at the hotel, you will travel for about 30 minutes to Ngwo. Enugu is filled with caves, waterfalls, and rivers, so if you are an outdoor person who loves to hike and explore this itinerary is perfect for you! You will trek among the proud tall trees Ngwo Pine Forest before you reach the cave. 


Day 2: Awhum Waterfall and Cave 20$

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, an hour and a 30-minute joy ride will take place to Awhum. Rest assured the van will be waiting at the carpark. Awhum Waterfall is run by the Monks, rest assured that before you start this journey permission has been granted. Please be at your best as this place was once open to the general public, but since people were abusing it they had to impose restrictions. From the carpark, a security guard will lead you to the waterfalls, you will hike for about an hour and a half. Expect to see bats as you travel through the cave. Dinner will be served at the hotel and for the rest of your stay.  


Day 3: Milliken Hills, Odukawa, Okpoku, and Okpara Square 

Embark on a half-hour journey to Miliken, make sure to bring your camera with you, wear your most comfortable hiking shoes, and bring extra water. Miliken will offer you the beautiful standpoint for a panoramic view of Enugu metropolis, especially at dawn and dusk, you can have your lunch packed at the hotel and have a picnic on the hill, make sure to be responsible and bring your trash as you leave for Ezeagu. It will be an hour's journey to the complex and a 10-minute walk to the river, you have plenty of time to rest so make the most out of it. Odukawa is one of the major attractions in Enugu, myth says that God resided here before ascending into heaven. After having a blast at the waterfall, you can head of the town to check out the night market and the Okpara Square. Taste local dishes such as Abacha! 


Day 4: Your vacation ends, make sure to inform the front desk about your itinerary to schedule drop off at the airport we wouldn’t want you to miss your flight!
