However, for some trips and travel programs, and most nationalities, security is 100% required. CORE STAPLE SERVICES AND SUPPORT
1. Latest and well-maintained 4x4's including fuel, car insurance, and all associated fees (used for tech and commodity and intel firms, embassies, diplomats and VVIP's.) B6 Armor Plating and other available.
2. Sliding door bus or minivan including the same
3. English speaking guide and a minder/fixer who is very well connected in Somalia all the way north to Hargeisa and South to RK, even with the state security and intelligence, the government, and the community of private security forces. Additional specialists are available from tech, oil, mining, intelligence, maritime, aviation, antipiracy, banking, and disaster relief sectors.
4. Security with 1 troop vehicle or 2 assault carriers (professionals) - recommended for travel more than simple transfers or solo or couple travelers in, town for valuable industrial cargo or commodities, and for certain areas of the country.
5. Military with the client crew in Somalia in some areas is also mandated by foot or watercraft options (3 to 4) too if you want the minimum armed escort. They would need another SUV for this only. These are local professional security officers, and not under another subcontracted private firm. They know how to scout and fire back, and are more practiced at giving chase rather than "guard"-ing for security "theatre."TIER 2 SERVICES AND SUPPORT
6. Elite Private Security Force: including lots of scouting and experience with the deep wilderness, kidnapping, planting spies for wildlife and human trafficking/organized crime-busting, and urban mobility every direction in the Horn and East Africa, and all cultures and contexts; These are including serious personal guards for the Prime Ministers of Japan and former US Vice Presidential Candidates and US Marine Corps Leadership in travel; US military base perimeter defense, INTERPOL; Kidnapping negotiations; Horn and Central Africa Evacuation in civil wars and cold war commands ' Eurasian Intelligence backgrounds.
7. Maritime Security: Armored Boats are available, while the Somalia coast around Mogadishu and Kismayo is relatively secure. We recommend 3-engine boats for speed and evasion, with plenty of weapons, and planning the sailing for certain times of the day.
8. Sniper Support: When we do an airlift, we can appoint teams of snipers to secure the perimeter of the aircraft depending on the runway. This can NOT be arranged last minute. It is more of the rule than the exception for aid flights especially bringing medicines and especially during COVID.
9. Overwatch, QRF, Plants, CP, Scouts, and more.
*These elite task forces are hired for 10 day block minimums including setup and scouting. More is not necessary unless you request, and then is pro-rated at regressive discounts. Discussion and advance meetings are encouraged.
*You do not have to pay their food and we arrange for food costs per member per day as by law now to avoid graft.

***We do not take responsibility for the hotels and premises in Mogadishu or broader Somalia and their security. If you get compromised or injured or killed or kidnapped there, it is on you and the hotel you chose for liability. We can refer some on request, but the choice purely rests on you. If you do not sign to these terms and conditions during your booking, we will get you blocked from entering the country and you will be turned away on arrival. We do not mess around with waivers and liability. Don't try.
SST uses trained and focused private security professionals, far superior in skill and more severe in attitude and subtle in movement than standard gate or night guards from most Africa and even MGD firms. We do not subcontract to small, inexperienced people or firms. They are paid well for their experience and sober focus on actual security, not "security theatre," and all know how to fire back and give chase in real combat, how to maximally reasonably elude detection and attention in the Somali cityscape and minimize profile, how to elevate to crises crack forces in the event of an ambush, and know to keep a low profile for clients and cargo. For most cargo, we will ask you to train us for install and our local team does it, to maximize foreigners' security. It is usually almost never a good idea for you to be in the vehicle, and security starts with minimizing your "points of indefensibility."
Our vehicles have strict maintenance regimes and excellent drivers, and we can employ scouts and intel feelers and fixers ahead for an additional cost as well. - We can have our plants and scouts deploy ahead.
