Day 1: Kano

Start your day with a cultural visit to Emir's Palace, a striking example of Kano's traditional Hausa architecture. Then, get a taste of the local life at the Kurmi Market, the oldest market of the state as you try henna art painting, take part in games, and enjoy mouthwatering delicacies with the locals. End the day at Dala Hill, where you can savor the views of the city below with the setting sun as the backdrop.

Day 2: Kano - Bauchi

Travel to Kano Central Mosque early in the morning and revel in the beauty of this majestic religious structure that draws thousands of worshippers weekly. Then, learn more about the long and distinguished history of Kano at the 15th century Gidan Makama Museum. After this, travel south to Bauchi State where you'll spend the evening at Yankari National Park.

Day 3: Bauchi

Start the day and enjoy a refreshing dip at beautiful Wikki Spring, a warm spring that has come about as a result of geothermal activity below Yankari National Park. Continue to the Tomb of Tafawa Balewa, the first and only Prime Minister of Nigeria before touring the rest of Yankari National Park, swinging by a bird sanctuary and the Marshall Caves, a number of ancient dwelling caves that has rock paintings and engravings - a sign of early human settlements.
