Early after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel as this day is full of things to see and stories to hear.
Our first stop will be Taxila UNESCO Heritage Site and this place indeed deserves this designation. You will learn how it was formed and why it was so important as it was strategically situated on the junction between Central Asia and Indian Subcontinent. Different empires were occupying it in various times but as other trade routes were developed - its significance declined and the city was abandoned. You will be able to walk among the ancient ruins and admire how well it was preserved considering it's age.

After that we will head on to explore Islamabad and we will start with the visit of Faisal Mosque, which is world’s 2nd biggest mosque dedicated to late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. After the visit, proceed to Monal up on the hills (9 kms from Islamabad). Enjoy the scenic view of one of world’s mosque beautiful capital cities from the hill. Later in afternoon and closer to the evening you will be dropped off at the hotel.
