What to expect

On this tour, you will learn more about the rich culture and history of this quiet town through its well-known establishments and natural sites.

Hop in your air-conditioned SUV or sedan and kick off your tour with a visit to Nana Living History Museum, also known as Chief Nana's Palace. Nana Olomu was an Itsekiri chief and a powerful 19th-century businessman from southern Nigeria. A living history museum that serves as a home for rich Itsekiri culture, the palace is now recognized and approved as a National Monument. Aside from being a reflection of Nana's achievements, the palace also tells a story of the slave trade and the trade of other commodities between the Itsekiris and the white men.

From here, take a scenic boat ride along Koko River where you'll see the rich flora and fauna in the area. After the cruise, head back to downtown Warri and stop at either Temple Grill Restaurant or Kilimanjaro Restaurant (or similar) for some local delicacies.

Tour ends with a drop off at your hotel or any chosen location.
