Custom 11-Day Luanda - Namibe - Lubango - Kalandula

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Luanda - if you land early enough today, you can fly straight to Namibe. The flights run Sunday, Tuesday, and Fridays at the moment in the early afternoon. 

Should you arrive too late, you will stay overnight in Luanda. 

Day 2: Desert region of Namibe and the town of Virei, ‘capital’ of the Mucubal people.

Day 3: Tchitundo Hulo – Pediva. Tours and tribes in the area.

Day 4: Iona National Park – Park drives.

Day 5: Oncocua – Meet three different ethnic groups – the Muchimba, the Mucawana and the Mutua. Spend time visiting Muchimba and Mutua communities and learning about their culture.

Day 6: Hangumbe – Drive to Hangumbe, a center for two more of Angola’s traditional groups, the Himba and the Mudimba.

Day 7: Chiangue – enter the territory of the Mugambue people, continue to the Portuguese settlement of Chibia. Visit settlement of the Muila people, known for their body decorations. 

Day 8: Namibe - Lubango Tour and  Luanda flight (evening)

Transfer to hotel in Luanda. Overnight in Luanda.

Day 9: This morning will be an early start from your hotel. Today we will drive from Luanda to Malanje visiting Ndalatando Botanical Garden and Black Rocks in Malanje. For lunch, we will head back to the hotel in Ndalatando and then enjoy dinner in Malanje. 

Day 10: After breakfast this morning we will depart from the hotel for Cangandala National Park. The park is not open at the moment to the public actually, however, we have spoken with the park rangers and they have agree to allow us into the park for your tour should they not be open by the time you arrive. 

After exploring the park, we will make our way back to the hotel and enjoy dinner. 

Day 11: After breakfast at the hotel this morning we will make our way to Kalandula falls and next, we will head to Musseleje Falls enjoying lunch along the way. 

Late this afternoon we will make our way back to Luanda where your guide will drop you off at your hotel (last night accommodation in Luanda not included)

End of tour.

• All transfers listed including those with a 4x4 vehicle where it's required
• All necessary entrance fees
• Accommodation (with the exception of the last night of the tour in Luanda)
• Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) on both tours. The original tour does not include meals on the 8-day tour and dinner on the 3-day tour. However, I have included them in the total cost. 
• Domestic Flights (Luanda - Namibe, Lubango - Luanda)
