Day 1: N'Djamena
Upon arrival at the N'Djamena Airport, you'll be welcomed and assisted with your things and then transferred to the hotel. Today we will have a chance to visit the city's biggest market. A very lively, colourful, and vibrant experience.
Accommodation and dinner.
Day 2: N'Djamena-Dourbali
After breakfast this morning, we will make our way to the National Museum before we depart for Dourbali. Dourbali is approximately 150km south of N'Djamena. This evening we will prepare for the show and rest up.

Day 3: Gerewol Festival
The next four days focus 100% around the festival. Making the decision to experience this festival is already impressive as it is an opportunity of a lifetime that very few westerners will ever have a chance to see.
Not only will you witness traditional dancing, colours, jewellery, and face painting - you'll also have an amazing amount of time to interact with people of the tribes while you take in one of the most spectacular festivals in Africa.
Dourbali is home to one of the Sahel's most important markets, over the course of the next four days we will spend some time here as well. The market offers another occasion to interact with locals and immerse yourself in the culture.

Day 4-5-6: Full day of Gerewol Festival

Day 7: Dourbali - N'Djamena
Ths morning we will enjoy our last breakfast at the camp before we begin the journey back to N'Djamena. We will visit the market, The village of Gaoui, and the museum of Sao. Once we arrive in N'Djamena we will visit the centre of the city before we find our way back to our hotel for dinner.

Day 8: N'Djamena
Today after breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
