Next to Mahe, Praslin and La Digue are the second and third largest islands of Seychelles, respectively. As is much of the rest of Seychelles, the islands are most known for their pristine beaches and luscious forests.

Today will include a bit of island hopping as we jump from Mahe to Praslin and La Digue. Seychelles includes some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and visiting Praslin and La Digue can prove this. The beaches are the perfect combo of clear blue water and golden sand. The granite formations and mountains surrounding only add to the surrealness and world renowned beautify of these islands.

Itinerary - Available Monday through Friday:

This morning you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Mahe, Praslin, or La Digue around 9 am and we will make our way to the island of Praslin, the second largest island of Seychelles. Praslin is home to UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vallee de Mai. Vallee de Mai is a natural palm forest that has been preserved in almost its original state, an amazing example of nature and unlike anywhere else on Earth. The site is home to the rare Seychelles Black Parrot as well as the Coco de Mer palm, more commonly referred to as the double coconut tree.

From Vallee de Mai, we will make our way Northwest to Anse Lazio, a beach considered to be the best in Seychelles. Surrounded by granite formations and jungle, it just might be the best beach you've ever laid eyes on!

Next up - lunch! We will sit down together and indulge in a delicious Creole lunch.

After lunch, we will head to an island packed with history and culture - La Digue. The third largest Island in Seychelles offers remnants of the first settlers and has a history that stretches back over 200 years. La Passe village is home to the majority of people who live here and hosts a beautiful little harbor.  The island boasts an incredible amount of Creole architecture you'll notice upon visiting sites including L'Union Estate, the Copra Mill, and of course Anse Source d'Argent - the most photographed beach in the world! The beach is sheltered by a reef and as a result, offers very calm and shallow waters. It is not unheard of for travellers to want to stay at this beach forever!

Once we have taken in as much as we can of this beautiful, turquoise island, we will make our way back to where we began the tour around 6 pm.
