From USD $119.00
  • Duration: 1 Days (approx.)
  • Location: Mahé
  • Product code: reefday

We will begin today nice and early and set off on our full day tour from Mahé. In addition to exploring Mahe's Inner Islands, we will also adventure through Saint Anne National Marine Park.

Today we will set off from the largest island of Seychelles, Mahé. The Inner Islands of Mahé are a group of more than 40 islands and are home to the majority of the population of Seychelles. In addition to being an incredible display of nature at its best, the islands are also the cultural and economic hub of the country.

Itinerary:

As we make our way through the Indian Ocean towards the Inner Islands, you'll get a glimpse of a part of the world so many do not get to experience. You're able to soak in the pristine blue waters and the outstanding beauty that surrounds you as we coast.

This morning, guests are picked up at their accommodation on Mahe between 8 am and 9 am. Pick up is available from nearby islands and can be arranged upon request.

Our next adventure will be to board a semi-submersible vessel and dip below the waves as we begin our voyage through Saint Anne National Marine Park.

The one of a kind marine park is a series of six islands well known for their immaculate beaches, and Creole restaurants. The islands diving and snorkeling are also one of many reasons people are drawn to Seychelles. The islands coral reefs and wildlife are of great proportions and are an absolute delight to experience. As we cruise through the islands, you're able to feed the fish and then jump in for a snorkel or a swim and get to know the wildlife a little better.

Next up, lunch! This afternoon, we will enjoy a delicious BBQ and some musical entertainment before we opt for a bit of onshore fun on Moyenne Island.

Lying just North of Mahé, Moyenne Island is now a national park (separate from Saint Anne National Park) and is wildly known and appreciated for its vast flora and fauna. Perhaps the greatest reason for visiting Moyenne is for the Giant Tortoises that roam freely. The island is also known for its ruins and pirate graves. Apparently there is still some treasure buried somewhere on the island, however, it is yet to be found!

If Giant Tortoises or ruins aren't your thing, of course, you're free to relax and enjoy this private beach.

We will cap our day off with a nice cocktail and a coast around the Marine Park before we begin our trip back to Mahé.
